Our guests can relax by strolling through our formal gardens, bird
watching, picnicking alongside our wooded stream, sipping wine or
champagne from a custom gift basket in one of our two gazebos, or
taking a refreshing dip in our swimming pool. Many a girl has been
proposed to in this beautiful garden.

Edgewood's specialty is small, highly personalized weddings that
recall the intimate splendor of an elegant, romantic past. For
weddings ranging in size from 2-125 guests, whether contemporary
or Victorian, we can meet all of your needs, including minister,
flowers, photographer, music, catered reception, cake and an
onsite chef. EDGEWOOD also provides an ideal environment for
wedding portraits. The plantation's living room was used as a
church for local worshippers during the Civil War.

WEDDINGS & ELOPEMENT PACKAGES
Looking to get
married in a quiet manner, but don't want to stand alone in the
cold office of the Justice of Peace? The Edgewood Manor
announces the intimate wedding, catering to 2-6 people. This
wedding will include the facility, music and champagne for only
$375. If you prefer to spend the night in our honeymoon suite,
the fee increases to $550. We can also provide you with the name
of a local minister (fee not included). Make your day special
without the added responsibility of a large wedding ceremony.

HORSEBACK RIDING NEAR THE
PLANTATION...
Just down the road from the plantation our guests
are invited to spend an afternoon horseback riding along the
Chickahominy Lake, one of Virginia's finest fresh water lakes.
